Let’s say you are on that much needed vacation. You are at the beach getting some sun. You are having a great time. BAM! An alarm message is sent from a machine at work. There is a machine alarm. UGH! Do you have to go back to work? With jmLite you can view status and key parameters of the machine directly from your cell phone.
jmLite is a scaled down, light weight version of the jmClient. Not all jMobile widgets are available on jmLite. The reason for this is because the goal jmLite is to provide an optimized screen that allows you to view data and get a snapshot of the machine quickly. The information on the display is specifically tailored for quick transfer and viewing on a small display.
jmLite runs on the most popular cellular phones including iPhone, Andriod and Blackberry. jmLite also runs on most browsers without a plug. It is based on standard JavaScript, SVG and the Web 2.0 technologies which means it does not need a plug in and can be executed from most current and future web and cellular phone platforms.

With jmLite, you create separate HMI displays that are tailored for your cellular phone screen size or web page. This allows you to define the exact information that you need to assess the status of the machine. You can make a fully graphical display or your can simply include key text parameters.
