jmCoDeSys


jmCodesys is a plug-in module that allows you to use the jMobile HMI with the CoDeSys SoftPLC run-time system.  CoDeSys by 3S Software is a popular SoftPLC system that provides an IEC 61131-3 based run-time environment that includes ladder logic, function block diagrams, structured text, instructions lists and sequential function charts.  The jmCodesys plug-in integrates the all of the feature of jMobile so that you can use CoDeSys with an advanced, graphical HMI.

 

jmCodesys integrates seamlessly with the CoDeSys run-time system.  You simply import the CoDeSys variables in to jmStudio and create HMI pages the same way you do with any jMobile project.  The same variable names used inside of CoDeSys are used in the jMobile project.

 

When using jmCodesys you are provided with all the advanced features of jMobile.  For example, you can record trends, define alarms, schedule events, send e-mails and store settings.  In addition, the HMI can combine CoDeSys run-time information with data from other PLCs or external devices.  

 

jmCodesys is a run-time component that runs on the PC side by side with the CoDeSys run-time system.  jmCodesys uses native protocols to interface with the CoDeSys run-time thereby providing the most optimized interface between the soft PLC and the HMI.
 

 

             

 
jmCodesys can be used with both jmClient and jmLite systems.  This provides the CoDeSys system with a full featured HMI or a lightweight web and mobile inteface.  With this approach, live CoDeSys data can be viewed from the iPhone and other popular mobile devices.
